Shampoo bars are the ultimate zero waste addition to your green bathroom routine. Eliminate dozens of plastic bottles from your disposables each year by switching to a solid shampoo bar. 
 
What to expect
Switching from liquid to solid shampoo takes some adjusting in the way you wash your hair, how frequently you wash, and for your scalp and hair to detox from the typical bottled options. Make sure your hair is very saturated before adding the shampoo.
 
Washing
Start by soaking your hair thoroughly. Hold the shampoo bar in your hand and focus on washing your head rather than your hair. Go in circular motions while lifting layers of hair to get each part of your scalp lathered.
Let the shampoo lather sit for 30-60 seconds before rinsing to allow for our awesome ingredients to work their magic on your mane.
 
Conditioning
Follow up by using an apple cider vinegar rinse or our solid conditioner. Only put your conditioner on the ends of your hair to detangle or smooth your tips and not directly on your roots.

Shampoo bars should be kept dry between uses. If you don't have a soap dish with proper drainage, simply set your soap on a folded up, dry washcloth between uses.
